Rosalie Shire Council
A Library Service For Everyone
Rosalie Shire Council's library services are available to all residents in the Shire and are completely free.

Becoming a member of the library service is simple and there's
no minimum age requirement (though a parent or guardian needs to endorse any application from a child under the
age of 16)

 

Rosalie Shire Libraries
Yarraman Branch Library
Yarraman library was the first library established within Rosalie Shire, and it opened in March 1982. The library is located in part of the Post Office building in Toomey Street, the main street of Yarraman.

Yarraman Branch LibraryThe Yarraman branch is open:
  • Mondays: 2:30pm to 6:30pm
  • Thursdays: 2:00pm to 6:00pm
  • Saturdays: 9:00am to 12:00pm

Facilities available at this branch include:

  • Internet: An Internet terminal is available for use at 50c per half hour. Bookings are required prior to use.
  • CD ROM: A CD-ROM player is available
  • Word processing: A word processing service is available
  • Wheelchair/Pram Access Ramp: Ramp access has been installed at the entrance of the library to provide wheelchair and pram access to both the library and post office facilities.
  • After Hours Returns: A chute is provided at the entrance of the library for the return of books, etc when the library is closed.
